Highlights of Version 5.1.9

User management

• Role-based access control: Added new user roles to the platform, allowing administrators to restrict access to specific platform features based on the user's role. Current roles include:

  • Admin

  • Product Manager

  • Project Manager

  • Product Engineer

  • Supplier

Customizer

• Unreal engine visualization (Beta): First steps towards Unreal Engine visualization have been taken as an alternative to WebGL for 3D product configurator experiences, enabling higher quality and more realistic rendering.

• Public API endpoints: New public API endpoints are now available.

Platform bug Fixes

• Preview image issue: Fixed an issue where black preview images were created by configurators on small screens.

• Text clamping: Fixed an issue where the text feature would not clamp when the bounding box was reached.
